Tentative deal reached with elementary teachers

The province has reached a tentative deal with the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario and with the Canadian Union of Public employees.

Education Minister Liz Sandals announced the tentative deal, ending a work-to-rule campaign that began last spring.

The union is advising its members to suspend their strike action.
