Teenager dies in Niagara ATV crash

Niagara Regional Police say an 18-year-old woman is dead and a 17-year-old girl is in critical condition following an ATV crash over the dinner hour Saturday night.  Police were called to Crowland Avenue and Ridge Road in Niagara Falls where they discovered that the two teens had been thrown from the vehicle. Both had critical injuries and were treated at the scene before they were transported to the hospital.  The 18-year-old died hours later. The Collision Reconstruction Unit has been called in and no further details have yet been released.
