Teenage girl killed by three dogs near London, Ont.: OPP

Middlesex OPP is investigating the death of a 17-year old girl after she was mauled by three dogs in a community southwest of London.

Police say Middlesex County officers, EMS, Fire, and Air Ornge responded to a report of a death at a home on Gentleman Drive Thursday afternoon.

Police say 17-year old Megan Fisher, of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation was pronounced at the scene.

An autopsy determined the teenager died of injuries from the three dogs on the property.

OPP did not reveal details of what led up to the death or the breed of the dogs. The three dogs are at a shelter under a quarantine order.

OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch is handling the investigation.
