Teen ‘sexting’ not as frequent

New research suggests teens aren’t “sexting” as much as people thought.

A survey of more than 1,500 kids aged 10 to 17, finds only 2.5% say they’ve sent or received sexual texts in the past year.

Only 1% of them say they’ve shared images of themselves or others involving nudity.

The research suggests texting of sexual photos among younger kids is extremely rare but more common among older teens.
