Teen in critical condition after being pulled from lake: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says a 13-year-old is in critical condition after being pulled from a Lake in Brant County.

Officers were called to a trailer park campground on Fourth Concession Rd. around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for a “water-related incident.”

A 13-year-old had been pulled from a small lake on the property and was in distress.

The teen was treated on scene by paramedics before being transported to a London-area hospital via air ambulance.

Police say the youth remains in critical condition at this time.

OPP is reminding the public to be extra vigilant when it comes to water safety and do their part to prevent tragedies from happening.
