Teen driver trapped after Mustang collides with tree in Fort Erie

An adult male in his teens had to be extricated from his red Ford Mustang after striking a tree on the Niagara Parkway Saturday.
Niagara police arrived on scene around 1:40 a.m. in the area of the Niagara Parkway and Townline Rd.
Police say he was alone in the car at the time of the collision.

The driver was then taken to an out of region hospital with what is believed to be life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances that led to the collision remain under investigation.
