Teen arrested in Niagara Falls in relation to Montreal homicide

Niagara Regional Police Service’s homicide unit assisted with the arrest of a 17-year-old boy in connection to a Montreal stabbing.
On April 15, a 16-year-old was killed in the Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough. Montreal police say the suspect fled the scene before they arrived.
A Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued on May 8 for the teen officers say was involved.
The investigation led police to Niagara Falls on June 5, where the boy was arrested. The circumstances of the arrest or motivation behind the stabbing has not been shared.
He appeared in court on June 6 to answer the charge.
No further updates have been provided.
