Summer vacation is here and swimming season is in full swing but with it comes dangers.
On Wednesday the body of a 15 year old boy was pulled from a lake in Algonquin Park, he drowned while on a class trip. On Sunday, a man drowned in Hamilton Harbour and last month, a 4 year old Hamilton boy drowned in a family pool. These tragedies raise concerns about water safety
The Red Cross says there are about 450 drowning in Canada each year and one in five of those are young kids falling into the water.
