Suspects sought in Milton gas thefts

Halton Police are asking the public to help them identify the men involved in an ongoing series of gas thefts. There have been seven different gas theft incidents in Milton from October 21st to November 15th.

Police say in every case, the car pulls up to the pump with their back license plate hidden.

The driver waits inside the car, while the passenger pumps the gas.

The car then drives away from the pump without paying.

Police say the same car is used in every theft, but a number of suspects have been caught on video.

The car is described as a silver, 2009 to 2011 four-door BMW 335 with tinted windows and no front licence plate. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 905-825-4747 x2415 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-222-8477 (TIPS), or by texting ‘Tip201’ with your message to 274637(crimes).
