Suspect wanted for armed robbery in Thorold

Niagara Police are seeking to identify a suspect in Thorold after a local business had been robbed.

Officers believe that the suspect arrived at the business riding a blue and silver bicycle. He entered the business, pulled out a black handgun demanding money from the cashier.

The suspect is described as a 20 to 30 year-old man wearing a black/grey Tommy Hilfiger jacket and a black mask with the Air Jordan logo.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the scene east on Beaverdams Rd. and Patricia St.

The cashier was not harmed during the robbery.

Police were searching in surrounding areas and found the bicycle, alongside a Tommy Hilfiger jacket, black mask, and a black replica pistol that is believed to have been used in the robbery.
