CHCH News has learned the superintendent of 150 Sanford Avenue North, a 13 storey apartment building in Hamilton’s north end, has left.

According to tenants in the building, Rick Dusiome received death threats while working as a superintendent over the last year.

Owners of the building from Tourbillon Property Management were expected to be at the building Friday to address incomplete work orders from the city and fire department, but no one arrived.

Residents say the building is littered with garbage and infested with bugs.

They say they’ve been told contractors will be coming in on Monday to make repairs throughout the building.
