Superheroes spotted at McMaster Children’s Hospital sparking joy in sick kids

Some of our favourite superheroes sparked joy and hope outside of McMaster Children’s Hospital Thursday night, as young patients watched caped crusaders rappel down the building to save the day.

The event involved Hamilton Police Services, with some officers donning the costumes of some of notable comic-book heroes, including Spider-Man, Batman and Superman.

Thursday night, they took a bite out of crime and put on a show for the heroic children at Mac Kids.

This continues a great tradition that brings much cheer to the hospital.

The collaboration between Hamilton police, Hamilton Health Science’s Foundation partnered up with the seasonal retailer Spirit Halloween, who raises money for local hospitals in order to ramp up things like critical care, support services, equipment, programming, toys and also the costumes the children were wearing.
