Sundance: Robot and Frank (Langella)

The stars of Robot and Frank were also on the red carpet at the Sundance Film Festival.

Set in the near future, it stars Frank Langella and Susan Sarandon. Langella is a retired jewel thief who lives a solitary life until his son installs a caretaker robot. Resistant at first, Frank warms to the robot; and when he understands what the machine is capable of doing, he plans one last great heist.

Nominated for an oscar for his portrayal of Richard Nixon, Langella says this is just another in a series of great roles that have come his way late in his life.
