A Stoney Creek man has been arrested following a two-vehicle crash in Oxford County.
Emergency crews were called to a collision in Norwich Township around 1:50 p.m. Friday.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says a vehicle and a pickup truck collided at the intersection of Oxford Rd. 13 and Norwich Rd.
They say the vehicle’s driver, a passenger, and an 18-month-old baby were all taken to a local hospital. The passenger was later airlifted to a London-area hospital for further treatment.
Police say the driver of the pickup truck fled the area.
Inspector Tony Hymers, Oxford OPP Detachment Commander, says a person was taken into custody after police received help from members of the community.
Julio Zari-Torres, of Stoney Creek, has been charged with three counts of dangerous operation cause bodily harm, fail to stop at accident causing bodily harm and fail to report accident.
He is scheduled to appear in a Woodstock court at a later date.
