“Hazmat teams took samples and screened for harmful compounds. None were identified,” a Hamilton fire spokesperson said in an email.
The call was cleared shortly after 6 a.m.
This is the second time in just over a month that the facility has been evacuated.
Workers at the plant had to evacuate on Feb. 2 after receiving a suspicious package that was later deemed to not be criminal in nature.
