Stolen credit and debit cards used in Hamilton, two men wanted

Halton police have released images of two suspects, including a Hamilton man, wanted in connection with series of car break ins and thefts in Burlington.

Police say several unlocked vehicles in the area of Seneca Ave. were entered during the overnight hours of May 2 through May 3.

Credit and debit cards that were stolen from one of the vehicles were later used in Hamilton. Police are looking for 57-year-old Richard Shields, of Hamilton, and a second suspect who has yet to be identified.

Police say the same two suspects are believed to be responsible for more car entries in Burlington on May 18.

Anyone who knows Shields’ whereabouts or can identify the second suspect is asked to contact Halton police.
