Stabbing at Hamilton mall

Hamilton police have issued an arrest warrant for a man they believe was involved in last night’s stabbing at Hamilton’s Centre on Barton.

Police say 34-year old Jonathan Shane Beaver is wanted for attempted murder, after a man was chased through the mall parking lot by three men wearing hoodies.

Police say the man was beaten and stabbed several times. Witnesses say two attackers took off in a white Acura, while the other fled on foot. The 35-year old victim is being treated at Hamilton General Hospital. Police are warning that Beaver is dangerous, and say not to approach him, but if you see him, police are asking that you give them a call.
