The City of St. Catharines says it’s introducing a new pilot program to make ice skating more accessible for small groups.
Beginning December 2025, skaters can book a half sheet of ice during non-prime hours for $75 per hour, taxes included.
Bookings are available at all four rinks at Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre, the Merritton Centennial Arena and Bill Burgoyne Memorial Arena.
The city says the program is designed to make ice time more accessible and affordable for small-group training, skill development, or casual skating.
All participants are required to follow arena rules and wear appropriate protective gear during their booking.
The program will run until the second quarter of 2026.
