St. Catharines man facing child pornography charges

Niagara Regional Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit arrested and charged a St. Catharines man with child pornography related charges.
Police say the Niagara police ICE unit and the Technological Crimes Unit began a joint investigation in May into child exploitation material.
As a result, police arrested and charged 52-year-old Roderick Andrew Cowan with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
Cowan is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Thursday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in the City of St. Catharines.
