St. Catharines hit and run

Niagara police are looking for witnesses after a hit-and-run in St. Catharines early Sunday.

A 44 year old St Catharines man was thrown into the air when he was struck by a car on Queenston Street.

The man was taken to Hamilton General Hospital in critical condition.

Police say the driver made no attempt to stop, but they later found a vehicle that matches the description to the one involved in the incident.
