The City of St. Catharines closed its facilities on Friday and will remain closed on Saturday due to the winter storm.

A warming centre will be open from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Market Square on Friday to protect vulnerable populations in the community, says the city.
Environment Canada’s winter storm warning for the area remains in effect, with extreme winds and snowfall expected anywhere between five to 15 cm by Saturday morning.
