Niagara police are appealing to the public to help their investigation into an assault in st.catharines.

Police say a 38-year old man was attacked while waiting for a friend in the parking lot at Summer Street and Helliwell Lane early Wednesday morning. He suffered facial injuries and remains in hospital, but is expected to recover. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
