Speed limits will go up to 110 km/h on several 400-series highways across northern and southern Ontario starting today.
The Ontario government is raising the speed limit on 10 sections of provincial highways.
In April, Ontario’s Transportation Minister Prabmeet Sarkaria made the announcement in Hamilton, calling the move a “common-sense change” that will make life more convenient for drivers.
The changes will affect the following highways:
While the speed limit will increase on most of those highways June 12, others won’t be changed until the end of the year.
