Today was a special day for over 200 young athletes at Mohawk College.

The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, Hamilton Police and Mohawk College partnered up to host the 10th annual Special Olympics for high school students.

It was all about teamwork, as students weaved through obstacles and even competed in a piggy-back relay.

Today’s Special Olympic school event is the largest one in the province.
