Some trains to temporarily bypass St. Catharines GO station due to bridge repairs
Metrolinx says some Lakeshore West GO trains will bypass the St. Catharines station for about six weeks while repairs are completed on the Seaway bridge.
Access to the St. Catharines GO station will be limited from January 8 to February 22 while C.N. Rail carries out daily repairs on the bridge after 6 p.m.
The following weekday Lakeshore West lines will not be stopping at St. Catharines GO during this time:
- Westbound trip arriving at St. Catharines GO at 19:30.
- Eastbound trip departing St. Catharines GO at 21:34.
- Westbound trip arriving at St. Catharines GO at 00:44.
- Westbound trip arriving at St. Catharines GO at 18:55.
- Eastbound trip departing St. Catharines GO at 20:46.

C.N.’s repair work is not expected to impact rail service to and from Niagara Falls.
Travelers looking to arrive or depart from St. Catharines during this period are advised to use the GO bus route 12 from St. Catharines Fairview Mall which connects to Lakeshore West trains at Burlington GO.
Those traveling on weekdays can also access GO bus route 18 from the on-street stop near St. Catharines GO, located at Louth Street and St. Paul Street West, which connects to Lakeshore West trains at Aldershot GO.
