Sneak peak inside the revamped Rogers Centre

The Blue Jays unveiled the latest renovations to the Rogers Centre on Thursday. The new look dome features five different fan sections and a wide variety of new food options.

Blue Jays president Mark Shapiro says this is the first phase of renovations, “Today’s the start, the start that we get to unveil the transformation of this stadium, transforming Rogers Centre from a stadium to a ballpark.”

Michelle Seniuk, V.P. fan experience says the renovations are going to modernize the ballpark and bring fans closer to the action. She says, “…we are so excited for fans to come and see five new distinct spaces that we have here in our ballpark.”

The new spaces like the Corona Rooftop Patio, and Park Social are open to anyone who has a ticket on a first come first served basis. Each of the new fan sections has its own food offerings.

Phase two of the $300 million facelift will kick off after this season and focus on the infield, and premium seating.
