Six Nations police have arrested two people from Ohsweken in a drug trafficking investigation.

Investigators conducted search warrants on Wednesday at a residence on Seneca Road where they arrested 51-year-old Kenneth Brian Elliott and 30-year-old Brittny Dawn Elliott.

Officers also seized 1.27 kg of cocaine, around $30,000 in Canadian cash, cell phones, digital scales, drug packaging materials, a firearm and bulk ammunition.

Both of the accused have been held before their bail hearings, according to police.
