SIU probing Whitby shooting

Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is probing the death of a 22 year old man in Whitby after shots were fired and a two year old was seriously injured.

Durham Regional Police were called to a home on Clune Place where the shooting happened around 5 Monday afternoon.

Police say they did not discharge any weapons.

The toddler was taken to Toronto’s Hospital For Sick Children, and is expected to recover.
