SIU probing fatal east Hamilton shooting

(Updated video) Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit has been called in, after an incident at Albright and Quigley Roads in east Hamilton.

Police say it happened as they were conducting a criminal investigation. Reports say a suspect was removed from a van, after shots were fired.

Police are re-directing traffic at Quigley and King, and expect to do so for the next 10 to 12 hours. Police say there is no threat to the public.
