Single-vehicle crash causes road closure in Pelham

Niagara police say a serious single-vehicle collision on Victoria Avenue in Pelham has resulted in the closure of a portion of the road.

Niagara police say the crash happened on Victoria Ave. near Sixteen Rd. in West Pelham, and the road will likely be closed into Tuesday afternoon.

Niagara EMS say a woman in her 20s was transported to an out-of-region hospital with a serious head injury.

Police ask drivers in the area to find alternate routes as Victoria Ave. between Sixteen Rd. and Twenty Mile Rd. remains closed at this time.
