Simon Cowell undergoes six hour surgery after breaking his back

Entertainment mogul Simon Cowell broke his back yesterday when he fell off his new electric bicycle at his home in Malibu, California.  It is now being reported that he is doing fine in hospital after undergoing a six hour surgery and having a metal rod inserted into his back.    Cowell was scheduled to participate in the first live episode of America’s Got Talent Tuesday night.  It’s not known yet if he’ll still be able to take part. There has been no official announcement.
