Crowds gathered in Simcoe June 17 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Carillon Tower war memorial (CHCH).

The 100th anniversary of the Carillon Tower war memorial was celebrated Tuesday in Simcoe.

The celebration included a marching band, a flypast, and a performance by a local choir.

A march kicked off the ceremony to rededicate the memorial to the 216 Norfolk residents who died in the First World War.
