Shai-Gilgeous Alexander receives key to the city at Hamilton Stadium rally

It was an exciting day at Hamilton Stadium where a hometown basketball hero Shai-Gilgeous Alexander received the key to the city Thursday.

Thousands of Hamiltonians came together to celebrate one of the city’s most accomplished sons.

At just 27-years-old Shai has already accomplished so much as a professional basketball player, and to honour his most recent incredible season, Hamilton’s mayor gave him a key to the city.
