Sex assaults on the mountain

Hamilton police are also asking for the public’s help as they investigate a series of sexual assaults on the mountain. There’s been six similar attacks since October 15th.

The most recent attack was Sunday night just befor nine o’clock. They say a woman was walking her dog in the area of Terrace Drive between Fennell and Mohawk Road, when an unknown man approached her and grabbed her by the thigh. She fought off her attacker and the man ran away.

The suspect is described as white between 18 and 22 years old, around six feet tall. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded sweat shirt and dark pants. In some of the incidents, the suspect was seen carrying a backpack.
