Serious injuries after pedestrian hit
A man is in hospital after being hit crossing Wentworth Street in Hamilton.
It happened around 9:45 pm Thursday. The man in his fifties was crossing Wentworth south of Main Street East.
Paramedics arrived and found him unconscious. They rushed to him to Hamilton General Hospital with a police escort.
His head injuries are described as serious. No word so far on any charges.
