A serious crash this afternoon has closed the northbound and southbound lanes of the Red Hill Valley Parkway.

Hamilton Police are reminding the public to respect road closures after a police cruiser on the scene was struck. CHCH News is told there were no injuries to the officer.

Reports suggest a woman in her mid 20’s was taken to hospital earlier this afternoon without vital signs.
The parkway is expected to be closed for several more hours.
