Serious crash in Norfolk County sends 2 to hospital, says OPP

Ontario Provincial Police have closed portions of roads in Norfolk County after a serious crash sent two people to hospital Monday morning.
Officers posted on X at around 11:49 a.m. that they were investigating a crash involving an SUV near the intersection of Cockshutt Road and Concession 10 Townsend.

Investigators say the driver was transported to hospital with serious injuries, and a passenger was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Police say they have closed portions of four roads while they are investigating the crash.
They have closed the roads between the intersections: Cockshutt Road at Thompson Road East, Cockshutt Road at Concession 11 Townsend, Concession 10 Townsend at Villa Nova Road, and Concession 10 Townsend at Barbers Lane.
Officers are asking drivers to avoid the area.
