Sentencing expected today for the man who pleaded guilty in the crash that killed Mackenzie Mann

A sentencing decision is expected today (Dec. 13, 2021) for the man accused of killing 20-year-old Mackenzie Mann in a high speed crash.
Mann was killed on June 3rd, 2020 by a 19-year-old man going 140 kilometers an hour when he t-boned another car at Airport and Nebo roads.
Bulend “Typhoon” Dikici pleaded guilty to criminal negligence causing death. He had been drinking before getting behind the wheel, but police say they determined he was not legally impaired.
The defense suggested Dikici be sentenced to two to three years in jail. The crown is asking the judge for six to eight years and a 10-year driving probation.
