Sean “Diddy” Combs found guilty of 2 out of 5 charges

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been found guilty of prostitution-related charges.
Combs, 55, was found not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking which could have seen him behind bars for life.
The music mogul could see up to 20-years in jail for the convictions. It is unclear at this time if Diddy will remain in jail while he awaits sentencing or if he will be released.
His defense has argued that Combs should be released today. The prosecution says that Diddy continued to commit crimes when he knew he was being investigated and that he does not respect the law.
The judge asked both lawyers to submit letters before 1 p.m. explaining and defending their position and the judge will determine whether Combs will remain in jail until his sentencing hearing or not.
After the verdict was read, Diddy was led out of the courtroom. Standing up to leave, he turned to the gallery and clapped, prompting the people seated there to clap and cheer as well.
