Scarborough man arrested after $35,000 worth of illicit drugs seized in Niagara Falls
Niagara police have arrested a 37-year-old Scarborough man after $35,000 worth of illicit drugs were seized in Niagara Falls.
Detectives launched an investigation into the sale of controlled substances on Wednesday and were able to seize 133.3 grams of cocaine, 28.4 grams of crack cocaine and 101.4 grams of fentanyl, totaling to an estimated street value of $35,000.
Kenneth Payne-Braithwaite, 37, of Scarborough was arrested and charged with the following:
- Two counts of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Two counts of possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Two counts of possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
The accused is scheduled to appear in video bail court at a later date.
