Russian drone and missile attacks kill five in Ukraine

Russia has fired cruise and ballistic missiles, and drones at targets across Ukraine.

The attack this morning killed at least five civilians and wounded almost 50 others.

At least three major Ukrainian cities, including the capital, were hit.

European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell was in Kyiv discussing military aid and financial support for Ukraine, as Western help is desperately needed by the country struggling with ammunition and personnel shortages.
