Russian attack in Kharkiv region kills at least 50 people, in one of the deadliest attacks in months

At least 51 people have been killed following one of the deadliest Russian attacks on Ukraine in months.

Ukrainian officials say a missile struck a village café and store in the Kharkiv region – and emergency crews continue to search for more casualties.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is calling the move an act of terrorism – while the Kremlin says its missiles meant to hit Ukrainian military assets.

Officials say this appears to be the one of the largest death tolls in any single Russian strike.
