A pick-up truck drove over the sidewalk and through the fence of a property on James Street South early Wednesday.

One person was taken to hospital as a result of the crash and police say they are in stable condition.

The incident shut down a span of James Street South from Robinson Street to Young Street forcing traffic to reroute through the area, however the thoroughfare has since reopened since 11:20 a.m.

Police have yet to determine what caused this incident and and their investigation remains ongoing.

No one has been charged at this time.
