Road Hard is a road comedy written and directed by Adam Carolla and Kevin Hench. The duo turned to the crowdfunding site FundAnything.com to get the film made, eventually raising close to $1.5-million. Carolla stars alongside Jay Mohr, David Koechner, Howie Mandel, Diane Farr, David Alan Grier, Larry Miller, Illeana Douglas, and Philip Rosenthal.

After his movie and television career has run dry, Bruce Madsen (Adam Carolla) is forced to go back on the road playing one dingy comedy club after another, spending endless nights in budget hotel rooms and always flying coach. Amidst trying to revitalize his career, rekindle his love life and put his daughter through college, Bruce knows one thing for sure – he must get off the road. ROAD HARD is the story of that journey.

“Getting to work with amazing actors like Diane Farr, David Alan Grier, Jay Mohr, Ileanna Douglas, David Koechner, Larry Miller, Dana Gould and Howie Mandel made us look like much better writers and directors than we actually are,” Hench admits. “This was the creative experience of a lifetime and I’ll be forever grateful to those fans who gave us the opportunity to steer Adam’s pirate ship into new, unchartered waters.”
