River Oaks Public School in Oakville will be closed to in-person learning this week.

The Halton District School Board says all students will move to teacher-led remote learning effective today.

The move comes amid a COVID-19 outbreak, which was declared at the school on Mar. 8.

There are two staff and five student cases of the virus.

The board says the school will reopen to students next Monday Mar. 22.
