The second annual “Rise Up” basketball showcase took place on Saturday.

The free event at Montgomery Park showed off senior all-stars from Hamilton, Brantford, and Burlington.

The event aims to unite against violence in our communities, and is a way for young adults to see that you can overcome anything, no matter the circumstances.
