Ridgeway driver slams into cruiser

A 65-year old truck driver from Ridgeway is being blamed for a crash that saw a big rig slam into a New York State trooper’s cruiser on Monday night.
35-year old David Cunniff had pulled over a car near Amsterdam, New York. He was sitting in his cruiser when the truck hit him from behind. Cunniff died later in hospital. So far, no charges have been laid.
