Restaurants, gyms, casinos, movie theatres across Ontario reopening at 50% capacity

A lot of businesses welcomed customers inside for the first time this year on Monday.
While many of the province’s restrictions have been lifted, some still remain like capacity limits and vaccine passport checks.
Janice Thomson, President of Niagara Falls Tourism, says the city will be focusing on providing a wonderful experience for those who make the journey out.
“We know what our destination is capable of. We’ve seen the numbers over the years, level of satisfaction people report when they come here. Our eyes are firmly on that goal. Getting right back to where we were,” said Thomson.
Tourists and Niagara residents were out Monday afternoon enjoying being able to do what many of us used to take for granted like eating indoors.
Social gathering limits have now also increased to 10 people indoors and 25 outdoors.
Ontario will remain in this step until February 21 when additional restrictions are set to be eased.
