Residents protesting after being served eviction notices

Residents of a James Street North building are protesting after being served eviction notices. This building was purchased by a Toronto-based developer in 2017 with plans to renovate the building into an 8-story affordable condo but scrapped those plans in 2019. They recently sold the property to a Halton-based developer who is kicking out the 3 remaining residents. Dale Manudoc reports.
