According to a CBC report – the WNBA is awarding the city a franchise after wide-spread interest from fans and one particular investor… MLSE chairman Larry Tannenbaum, who spearheaded the move on his own. Stakeholders have yet to confirm the report, but we’re expecting Toronto can tip-off in 2026.
